In 2013, I visited the Miami Club Rum when they were in Wynwood. I met Matt, the owner and his staff. From there, Miami Club Rum and Skinny South formed a friendship. We use their Silver, award winning rum in our Chocolate Espresso Rum balls. 14% alcohol
Then in 2016, I met with Four Roses and developed the bourbon balls. In 2018, American Barrels will be our 3rd high-end liquor company to form a friendship. With all of the above companies and Skinny South, I decided to reach out to Memphis Music Foundation and have a portion of the sales go to the musicians that round out your life experiences... drinking, music and food have always gone together. My southern roots and passion for the art as well as a deep understanding as to how hard the musicians work to bring you sounds that couple life memories, I felt that it was important to give back to the sound of your soul. Join me this holiday season and purchase a fabulous gift set of the above. There are various prices and gift options. American Barrels will sell on their website. We will have all three on our site under Specialty Products. You must be 21 years of age and it will be requested a person of legal drinking age sign for the package. Thank you for your support.

Sabrina's Adaptive Beach -
www.sabrinasadaptivebeach.com While running down the beach in Miami one day, I noticed people setting up for an event. At first I thought it was a movie, because that is not unusual in Miami Beach. But it was an adaptive beach. I really didn't understand so I said that I would be back with protein cookies. The rest is history, 2 years later we are still providing Sabrina's Beach with product. What is Sabrina's Adaptive Beach... Sabrina was in a car accident leaving her with a future of change. Like many with disabilities they cannot go to the beach. It takes a lot of people, special wheelchair, specialties in case of emergency and to even get them transported to the sand. Once on the sand, they cannot get into the water. Just imagine being unable to enjoy the beach, let alone a place where you reside. Insert, the program. The City of Miami Beach has recognized and is now on the path of developing Sabrina's Beach a permanent home on the beach. People with disabilities can with the help of many volunteers, companies, Sabrina's lovely family and friends... makes this possible. My suggestion is that you contact Sabrina's Adaptive Beach Program so that you can get involved making a difference or if you are a person in need of special services and would like to have fun on the beach, please contact via their website. See you in August ! |
